Students who are the holder of a Master's degree, or equivalent, from a European University can be admitted to the PhD programme. Students with a less-conventional curriculum are recommended to enter the PhD programme via the DEA diploma (see below). Students interested to register for a PhD programme in one of the graduate schools of the Faculty are encouraged to read the information on the graduate schools and to contact Mr. Gomes (gomes anim.ucl.ac.be) and/or the president of the graduate school of their choice for further details. |

The Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (BICL) has its own DEA programme. This programme takes one year and comprises 180 hours of advanced courses and participation in a research programme of one of the ICP laboratories. The DEA diploma gives access to the PhD studies in one of the graduate schools of the Faculty. |
